From the Vault - Purple Box Quilt

I made this quilt in November, 2008.  The pattern is Ingrid Barlow's Boxed Blessing.  This quilt remains one of my favorites.  (I also made a version with spring colors which I can show you next spring.)

At 41" x 55", it makes a nice tablecloth...

... throw for a chair ...

... and even a rug.  But most of the time it hangs on a wall.

It has all my favorite colors - yellow, green, purple, and orange.  I'm not a fan of brown, but I have to admit to liking the browns I put in this quilt.

I quilted it with straight lines that ran from the corner of one seam to the nearest corner of another seam.

The back - using up not-so-favorite-fabric.
