It's All About Color

Color, particularly in textiles, has an interesting history.  Over the coming weeks and months, I'll be talking about color.  Today we're just going to sit back and look at some of the colorful blooms in my July garden.

Lobelia and Dianthus

Rose and Lily

Gerbera Daisy, Shasta Daisy, and Geranium

Lily

Spiderwort

Weigela

I think this is some variety of Alyssum.  It's about a foot tall and it self seeds.

Nice contrast of light and dark.

Lovely soft gray feather from a Cooper's Hawk.
