Since I've been doing a lot of paper piecing lately, why not show you some of my old paper-pieced quilts?
This is my first one, made in 2002. It's a small wall hanging, around 2' x 2'.
I learned how to paper piece in a class from a now-closed quilt store. Back then I liked batiks and earthy colors. I don't use either one any more.
I had a lot of Oriental fabric back then, too. Not any longer.
Each dragonfly has eye color different from the other dragonflies.
Quilting was simple. I did a double row in the border, then I stitched in the ditch around the dragonfly's body and wings.
