Whenever I'm away from my blog for more than a few days, the odds are good that I'm in my sewing room rearranging things. Again. Such was the case this past week.
This dollhouse bookcase is one of the new acquisitions I needed to make room for. It's 4' tall, 15" wide and 12" deep.
I found it in the kids' department at HomeGoods. It goes well with all my white cubbies, but I did need to rearrange them to make room. Furniture is heavy, so I needed to empty things out, which led to more rearranging, particularly since I got rid of a different piece of furniture which was holding lots of fabric.
And of course I had to do the other side of the room as well. More on that later.
With five shelves, I was able to fit lots of things in here. Not too much in the attic, yet.
The second shelf has all my sewing-themed fabric.
These are the 3rd and 4th shelves. On the upper shelf you can see my Wild Millie quilt folded up. Until the other day, it covered the slipper chair in my sewing room. But now I have a new project for that chair. More on that later this week or next.
On the lower level, a picket fence to corral my bales.
