My Next Project

I'm going to make a small wall hanging for my next project.

I bought this pattern in 2008 at the International Quilt Festival in Chicago.  BBD Creations is retiring and only selling online now.  They have twelve of these patterns left, and they're on sale for $5 each. 

Log Cabin is my favorite block and I love these rich, warm colors.

I'll be using these beautiful fabrics, hand-dyed by Anne Alessi, from Steel Wool Studio.  I first showed them to you last year in Piggy Pile Foreshadowing.

I'm not sure if I'll stick exactly to the pattern or not, but at least it's a starting point.
