Juvenile Embroidery Book - Page 7

Last week I finished another page of my juvenile embroidery book.

Most of the embroidery is done with two strands, except for the bell which is one strand.  It's so small and delicate, so that's all it could take.

The inspiration fabric was flannel.  I bought it last November on Small Business Saturday (the Saturday after Thanksgiving), at Patches and Petals in Belleville. 

This is approximately how it will look in the book, with the inspiration fabric on the left, backing the previous page.   Today I decided to frame each embroidered page with the inspiration fabric, to give even more visual continuity.
