Color, particularly in textiles, has an interesting history. Over the coming weeks and months, I'll be talking about color. Today we're just going to sit back and look at some of the colorful blooms in my July garden.

I think this is some variety of Alyssum. It's about a foot tall and it self seeds.
Nice contrast of light and dark.
Lovely soft gray feather from a Cooper's Hawk.
